Let the Games Begin!

Suitcases are packed, equipment shipped, and the team is focused as the day of our departure draws near. Hours, weeks and months of preparation are behind us. What remains is the day of competition. The team has been training in Kerrilynn McInnis Culinary Skills Lab here at The Culinary Institute of Canada. The lab, which is named after one of our vibrant young graduates, who passed away at the age of 19, is the home base of our team. It seems fitting that as we travel to the Culinary World Cup, we dedicate this journey to the memory of Kerrilynn.
Stay tuned for Sunday November 25, our first day of competition , when the team will showcase our Three-Course Menu in the Restaurant of Nations. After this, we regroup in preparation for the contemporary buffet on Wednesday November 28th. Only then will we find out where we stand among all the culinary talent of the world.
