Going For Gold!...Culinary World Cup!
Updated: Dec 13, 2019
The tickets are booked, hotel rooms reserved, the host and prep kitchen secured, the bus hired, the team's day to day activities and work planned out. However, there is still a ton of work to be done to get ready for this adventure.
Only when all the details have been worked out will the team be ready to hit the road. In the meanwhile the team's priority is to practice the food program tirelessly over and over again. Management is taking care of all the other details.
It is official... our competition date for the Three-Course Restaurant de Nations menu for 70 covers will be Sunday, November 25th. We then have a day to rest and a day to do our mise en place before we execute our Contemporary Buffet on Wednesday, November 28th, the last day of the 2018 Villeroy Boch Culinary World Cup.
While in Luxembourg, our team will stay in the little downtown Hotel Parc Bellevue, which is very close to all the city's amenities, host kitchen, and exhibition site.
