Why Cooking:
Ever since I can remember, I loved the idea of being in the kitchen. When I turned 16, I got my first kitchen job and from that point on, I knew that this is what I wanted to do. I decided that I would take Culinary Arts to gain the experience and knowledge that I need to start my career in the culinary industry.
Favorite food:
Duck Confit Tortellini
Who inspired you:
My parents have always supported me throughout my journey into the culinary field and inspired me to follow my dreams and make them into a reality. My coworkers have also been a huge inspiration to me, helping me and leading me to success.
Things I like to do when I am not cooking:
Traveling and spending time with friends and family..
Being a member of Youth Team Canada:
Being a member of Youth Team Canada is a true honour. Competing in black boxes when I was in culinary school is where my love for competitions started. I have learned so many new techniques and skills, and working with Team Canada will be my next challenge – competing against teams from around the world. Being able to work with such a talented team means so much to me and I can't wait to see what the future holds!
